Sam did an amazing job for me. I needed him to match the Victorian built on cupboards and cope with ornate high skirting. He did such a good job that my new cupboard looks original.
Sam has done a number of jobs for us including shelving, cupboards, worktops and a wardrobe. We’re always incredibly pleased with the standard and finish of his work, he’s very skilled with great design ideas and is always very professional. Would absolutely recommend
Outstanding work and truly wonderful to have these guys working on our home. From initially discussing the project, measuring up and confirming our designs through to completion Sam was engaging and approachable he took time to explain how he was going to do the work and where we were unsure he made small mock ups to provide visual examples. Had new doors fitted throughout the house, love the quality of doors Sam recommended, the fit is great & he went above & behind to sort door furniture & fix odds & sod's that needed doing. Would highly recommend & will use again, much appreciated his hard work.
Sam did some work for us, including building a window seating bench in our sitting room, fitting wall panelling in our master bedroom, hanging all new fire doors throughout and various other smaller carpentry tasks. We are very pleased with the job - Sam was reliable, professional and the quality of his work is fantastic! Sam was quick to reply to messages and had a great balance between just getting the job done and seeking feedback to check the finish was exactly as we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for anymore and would recommend Sam in a heartbeat! Thank you again.
Sam changed over 4 interior doors for me as well as doing some skirting in the bathroom, and his work was extremely good quality. He helped us choose doors and handles and it all looks great. Very tidy too, I think he left the floor better hoovered than before he arrived! Will definitely be using again for any future carpentry jobs

So pleased with the work from Sam! We had a new roof and internal stud wall and it was completed so efficiently and professionally. SJG have carried out lots of work for us including laying flooring in the entire ground floor, installing new doors and door frames in every room in the house and Sam even hand made our fabulous bespoke built in wardrobes. Sam has years of experience and that really helped us decide what we wanted. I can only say good things about SJG and would recommend them to everyone who needs work doing. I’m saving up for the wall panelling and new bannisters next! If I could give them six stars I would, ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sam fit the flooring for our new business and our home. We are so so pleased. It looks amazing and Sam was so helpful and professional. Nothing was to much. Would defiantly recommend Sam, and will be using his services again very soon!
